1. Parties and scope
Cool Toys Trend / 酷玩潮 custom projects are operated by 济南酷玩潮网络信息有限公司 (English rendering for reference: Jinan Kuwanchao Network Information Co., Ltd.). The client, deliverables, quantities, destination, price, schedule and responsibilities are defined in the project proposal or agreement. If this framework conflicts with a signed project agreement, the signed agreement controls.
2. Enquiry and feasibility review
A submitted brief is an invitation to discuss a project, not an order. We may ask about the audience, use, quantity, target date, destination, budget, age group, electrical features, rights and reference materials before confirming feasibility. Either party may decide not to proceed before a paid or signed stage begins.
3. Initial visual direction
Where offered, a complimentary initial concept is a limited visual direction for a qualified brief. It is not a construction-ready brick design, final artwork, physical sample, quotation, production commitment or transfer of intellectual property. The number of directions, revisions, permitted internal use and any watermark are stated in the offer or proposal.
4. Fees, payment and project stages
Creative development, engineering, prototypes, packaging, testing, production, freight and other services are priced by scope. Deposits, stage payments, currency, taxes, bank charges and any credit of concept or sample fees are stated in the proposal or agreement. Work can pause when an approval, material, payment or decision is overdue.
5. Client materials and rights
The client must identify the owner and permitted use of logos, characters, products, buildings, artworks, photographs, names and other supplied materials. The client confirms it is authorised to provide and use them for the agreed project, or clearly identifies where permission is still needed. We may pause or decline work where rights are unclear. Rights in third-party materials remain with their owners.
6. Cool Toys Trend work and intellectual property
Pre-existing methods, know-how, templates, tools and materials remain with their existing owner. Ownership or licence terms for project-specific concept art, brick design, instructions, packaging, photography and production files are stated in the signed scope. Unless expressly agreed, concept files and production-source files are not automatically transferred by payment for samples or finished products.
7. Revisions, approvals and changes
The included review rounds, decision-makers and approval method are recorded in the scope. A client approval authorises the next stage. Changes after approval can affect price, stability, parts, packaging, tests, minimum quantity and timing, and are handled through a written change or revised proposal.
8. Engineering, prototypes and tolerances
A visual concept must be developed and checked before it becomes a production-ready build. The agreed process can include structural design, connection and stability review, parts selection, instructions, prototype building and packaging samples. Physical products can have reasonable colour, print, fit, material and packaging tolerances. Critical requirements must be identified and agreed before production.
9. Safety, testing and compliance
The intended market, age group, retail or promotional use, small-parts risk, electrical or battery components, labels and destination determine the compliance path. Required standards, tests, certificates, responsible parties and costs must be agreed for the project. No sample, past test or general statement is a universal certification for a different product or market.
10. Production quantity and quality review
Minimum quantities depend on model, printing, packaging and production route. The approved sample and written specification form the reference for production. Inspection method, acceptable tolerances, spare parts, replacement process and remedies for verified non-conformity are stated in the project agreement.
11. Schedule and client dependencies
Quoted timing assumes timely materials, feedback, approvals and payments. Creative development and prototype time are separate from the typical production window stated on the website. Late changes, unavailable parts, testing, peak production, customs, carriers and events outside reasonable control can change the schedule. We will communicate material changes when known.
12. Shipping, customs and taxes
The delivery term, destination, route, freight payer, insurance, import responsibility, duties and taxes are confirmed in writing. International delivery is not included unless expressly stated. Risk and title pass at the point specified in the project agreement or applicable delivery term.
13. Cancellation and suspension
Cancellation, suspension, refundability and treatment of completed work, committed materials and supplier charges are set out in the proposal or agreement. Fees for completed or committed stages are generally not reversible merely because a project is later paused or cancelled, subject to the signed terms and applicable law.
14. Confidentiality, agencies and publicity
NDA requirements, white-label or client-facing roles, account ownership and permitted disclosures should be agreed before confidential material is shared. We do not automatically publish a client name, logo, product or project image as a case study. Any public use requires the relevant permission and must describe the project status and our role accurately.
15. Warranties, remedies and liability
Project-specific warranties, acceptance criteria, correction process and liability limits are stated in the signed agreement. Nothing in this framework excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Neither party should rely on an informal message as a guarantee of a specification, certification, date, freight outcome or commercial result.
16. Contact and next step
Submit a project brief with enough information for a feasibility review. A project begins only after the relevant scope, commercial terms and approvals are agreed.
