Tianjin University was founded as Peiyang University in 1895. The university describes it as the first modern university in China.
For its 130th anniversary, Cool Toys Trend planned and delivered two publicly released building sets based on recognisable campus landmarks. The collection was created for campus retail, anniversary activities and alumni gifting.

Peiyang Square
A compact campus scene bringing together the Tianjin University East Gate and the Peiyang Memorial Pavilion. Their contrasting white and warm-stone forms create a clear, display-ready silhouette.
1,162 pieces
No. 9 Teaching Building
The larger set captures the building’s long horizontal facade, layered roofline and formal entrance. Tianjin University records the building as completed in 1953 and designed by Professor Xu Zhong.

The finished models were photographed on campus so the connection between each brick-built form and its architectural reference stays immediate.
